Default free practical autocad test online

The company I work for is looking to hire someone and we are looking for a basic practical autocad test online something that weeds out people who can't even draw a line.

Most of the tests I have found are written not practical, any suggestions?

    Thanks!

sounds like a waste of your time. a phone interview will readily weed out the absolutely unqualified, which is all yiour're asking this to do. Online does not always equal 'better', or even useful

Give them a drawing and tell them to reproduce it.

That is our current way of doing it we give them a pencil cad of a system flow and a mark-up of a facility plan and say "dazzle me with your magic".

I think I'll add Reikajapan's test as well.

I just read a thread recently on this, where the employee who setup the drawing test drew everything, made it a block, deleted the block instance leaving the block reference in the drawing.

From what I recall, few of those who tested actually checked for the block reference, inserted, and exploded it (successfully completing the test), whereas most went straight to manually reproducing the 'test' graphically, which took significantly longer (if completed at all).

Well, fire the test maker and hire that man.

Err, didn't that leave a blank drawing?

That was the point as I understand it... The seemingly 'empty' drawing template was used for those being interviewed during the 'test'... If one failed to check for the block reference, they were not considered for the position (if memory serves).
