    Exclamation plotting problem

    Help!!!

I am tring to plot a foundation plan and some of the footings are not printing and some are not. I can see them on the sceen just fine in the sheet and the plan, but when I go to the preview some of them just disappear. And the footings are both existing and new construction.

problem is half solved, the floor object (6" conc slab "floor") that is set to 100% transparent is not allowing the footings below to print. I set it to not transparent and still had the same result. I need the floor to show if not just for the outline. Has anyone had this problem to?

Try setting your Hidden Line Views, on the Print Setup Tab, to Raster Processing vs Vector Processing

I realize this is a 2-month old post, but I ran into the same issue and contacted Autodesk for support. It took them a month to investigate and get back to me. For now, we'll use anetace's suggestion of plotting using RASTER processing.

Here is the text of the email I received from Autodesk, yesterday:
"...Thank you for your patience while we researched this issue.

The issues you are seeing stem from an issue with the view discipline. This is an issue that is actively being worked on by our Development group, and at this time, the workaround is to set the view discipline to "Structural".

The fix requires the code for Revit to be modified, and as such, we do not have a timeline for when any fix may be released.

I apologize for the time it took to get back to you and for our findings as well, as I am sure that is not what you wanted to hear.

Please let me know if you have any further questions about this issue."

Old post, I know, but in the latest versions of Revit has anything been resolved with the Vector-Hidden Line plotting issue? from searching around I saw there were a few other posts with kind of the same problem, but no real solution, just work-arounds.

We are having problems in 2014 with Duct drops underneath another duct overriding the duct above to be show as hidden. And only when plotting in vector. As stated below, it looks fine on my screen, but broken when PDFed. see below for a screen shot from revit and the plotted pdf. Right now we just draw detail lines to cover this up.

    Thanks!

I'll bump this. This is still happening in 2015, changing view disciplines does not resolve the problem. Raster printing prints correctly, and vector does not. This is very frustrating, has anyone figured out anything more about this?
