Default how do i know if the line starts in the middle of another

i drew a line, i hope from the center of another (there was a dotted green line from there).
i watched at the constraints the new line has and there is no sign for that, only that it is parallel.
how can i be sure i snapped to the center?

The big green dot is a mid point.

If the line is already placed, try dragging it off the midpoint. If it can't slide off the middle, it's locked to midpoint.

You could also 'show all constraints' and see what constraints are active for that line. Depending on your sketch complexity, this could become overwhelming rather quickly though.
