    Default 3d view cube misaligned

How would the view cube become "misaligned" from north? See the image below. I'd like to fix it and I assume it has something to do with setting true north or the project position, but I'm not confident enough to change it. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe True North vs Project North?

The cube should be aligned with the building and the compass aligned with true north if you've done it right. If you don't do it this way, your shadows will not be correct. Start a project and rotate true north to see how it works. Also make sure "front" on the cube is front on the building.

Revitaoist, thanks for pointing me in the right direction with your "Also make sure 'front' on the cube is front on the building." In my 3D view, I right-clicked the cube and found "Reset Front". I guess I managed to change that view's front accidentally.
