try putting ./stop/period in front of the command. What happens?
Nothings change.
Please, can you precise, what you mean: stop, period?
In other words, jaberwok asks you to prefix the full Hatch command with a fullstop, or period (US/UK depends what you use).
This ensures that the standard hatch command is used, even if some custom code redefined it.Code:.HATCH
Also check if the dialog opens if you type HATCH ... maybe your PGP file is no longer working properly so the H shortcut is not loaded.
Another possibility could be that your hatch dialog is moved off screen. After issuing the hatch command, press Alt+Space, then M, then use the cursor key to try and move the dialog back into the screen.
had a similar problem with the saveas d-box, i exited autocad then i resyarted autocad, it started to work fine after that.
Hello. Sorry to bring this up again but this question just came up. Several users were talking about how the dialog box does not open when starting the HATCH command, myself included; however, some users it does work. It worked for me when we had 2009 but does not now in 2012. I don't hatch much here so I never noticed. CMDDIA & FILEDIA are set to 1.
When starting the command (whether it's H, BH, Hatch, or .Hatch), this appears in the cmdline "Pick internal point or [Select objects/seTtings]:" If using -HATCH then all the cmdline entries show. The "T" for settings has to be selected.
Any other thoughts on this would be appreciated. I'm guessing some other variable but not sure which to check now.
Thanks
Paul
