Default Liinking two or more ACAD Tables to one another

I have two ACAD tables in a drawing that represent sereval different areas of data. One of these tables need to reference a cell from the other table for calculating purposes. How do I direct Table One cell D4 to reflect Table Two cell E6? Sorry for the urgency, but I require this ASAP. Please advise, Thanks

    Select the destination cell.
    Right click
    Choose Insert>Formula>Cell
    Select the target cell.

For me, the above works fine for numbers but fails for text. Any ideas?

This is great when the tables are in the same space, however, it doesn't work when they are in different spaces. (Paper and Model). Please advise. Thanks
