Stair Nosing Profile showing up on landing

I have recently created a metal pan stair profile to use for our stairs. Strangely enough when it seems as if it is missing from the first riser and unexplainably shows up on the landing. I know this is probably a simple fix. Thanks in advance. Is it a stair properties issue, or a profile issue?Attachment 87489

My first guess would be a profile issue: I'd say that the profile was drawn offset from the origin. Wild guess.

I flipped that profile all around and it did even stranger things than this. Also i only have tread selected in the stair properties I do not have riser checked as this is an integral piece.

Here's the stair I opted for a simpler nosing profile. However I would really like to hear everyone's opinion about how to have control these wire mesh baluster panels i have created. How do i get them to fill the length of my stair. The baluster placement dialog and options have been quite a challenge to wrap my mind around. As you can see in my model the baluster panels only fill some of the length of the stair.

Do I need to make a baluster panel for each length which will be subdivided along the length of the stair?
Is there a way to make the baluster panel flexible so that it would array itself along the length and fill the space?

Also how do i get my handrails to go horizontal at the last nosing. When I edit the handrail sketch it will not let me edit individual breaks.
