    Default truss seats

Does anyone know how to add bearing seats to trusses. I have existing wood trusses that were build with 10" seats on each end. The truss family only has web members and chord members.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a similar issue, with needing to add seats to a joist-girder truss (the top chord slopes and it was easier to make a truss for it). I'm wondering if adding an additional web member might work? Or a bottom chord member below the top chord? I don't know if the family will let me though.

I just tried it, and you can add an additional bottom chord member at the bottom of the top chord. It's not perfect - there's no way to specify a size separate from the bottom chord, but it shows something anyway.

There is also a way to load a framing member family into the truss family. I think that you could add the wood member you want to use for seats, and set up dimensions to put it where you want.
