    Default LENGHT ISSUE AND TAKE OFF

    HI i need help about the lenght of some material.here what i done
    1.create the schedules
    2.material take off then
    3.multi category
    then im loking for the lenght and i cant find it, i just want to calculate the leangh of one material element in my project but i dont know how.
    i really appreciate if you help me out

    Materials take offs calculate AREAS, not lengths. If they are linear elements that all have the same width, you can create a calculated value such as "= Area / #" where "#" is the width.

    some thing strange happen when i arrey or copy some element in tow element the value of first element change for example you know 2x2=4 but the revit show me 2x2=2.5
    i chek decimal and every thing i dont know what to do.
