I have had only cursory training in Revit and what I know, I've picked up mostly on my own. We have a client who prefers to model in 3DS Max and wishes to provide us with that model for us to cut our backgrounds from. I was asked if this was possible and with my limited experience, I said, "Yes, but with great difficulty." It seems to me that we would have to start from scratch and build a project for this model and then import it as a link or a family in order to cut our backgrounds from it. It just seems to be a labor intensive exercise that would not be cost effective in the least.

Please excuse my ignorance, but am I missing something?
