    Default Conversion FONT Problem

I'm converting a bunch of drawings from the "Other" cad program.
MText is giving me a problem.

In the code for the text is this:
    (1 . "\\ Fchar_fast_font.shx|c0;PAINT 12\" LANE NUMBER BLACK (TYP.)")

The SHX call is producing unacceptable results. All the text looks like the old Simplex font.

The only way I have found, so far, to get rid of this is to open each piece of text in the text editor, highlight the entire thing, and chance it to RomanS.

This is no good as I have Hundreds of pieces of text.

Any ideas on how to strip that out of there?
    Find and replace doesn't work.
