Default Array inside Array & visibility

I m trying to improve my RAC family. It is a Box type minor RCC bridge.
I want to show the Parapet of bridge swapping between Brick parapet/ RCC railing with posts. The problem :
1-Insering Intermediate posts in between arrayed PairPosts. Intermediate posts are so placed as spacing between posts should not exceed 2000mm. End posts are fixed at ends.
2- At rear side brick parapet is made by extrusion. Visibility is to be set as when one req. brick parapet, the RCC railing must be off.

I need help if any user can. The rfa is attached in 2012 version.

    Thanks

I assume you need to handle this as in a fence family, with posts and pickets. Probably you need a nested array. Another alternative for this kind of families, in the future, is to do it in Revit 2013 version, using the Divide & Repeat feature, which allows this kind of multiple, embedded, repetitions.

I do not want the railing/ parapet as fence. How can I nest a fence in my bridge family. The main problem is swaping between RCC parapet & Brick parapet. Still I did not tried Revit 2013. Is it easier to do this in 2013 ?

I said "as in a fence family". Meaning, a repetition of two different elements, one that is every 4 feet, for example, and another element every 4 inches, in between the first elements, for example.
Yes, this is easier in 2013, because of the divide & repeat feature.

I tried the Param. Polygon explained in your blog. It is working for subscribed circle but not for inscribed circle. Formula for " side" seems currect. Can you test the attached rfa ?
    Thanks for your nice blog.

Yes, the blog had the formula for both versions (inscribed or circumscribed) but I left only one formula in the blog, because to make the over version it requires some other work in the family, because the measurement of "radius" changes for the other case. It is good that you made it work at least for one of the versions. Good job.
I hope you are not the same person who left a comment in the blog saying that the family could not be done; are you?
You know, that blog article is the most popular of my articles. It was published some 10 months ago, and it has had some 4,845 views.
