    Default edit family - simple question...yes or no?

    Hi at all,
    can i modify a family and its parameters in a project document with revit API without enter the family editor?

    I tried to search but nothing,

    basically it depends if the family was made to do that or not... Not sure what else to say???

    You can assign Values (Modify) to any Param (Type or Instance, Building or System Component) from a Project. What are you trying to do?

    i'm trying to change value of a family type parameter in project document but it doesn't work. I was able to modify only family instance parameters
