Default Starting new Project From scratch (new to Revit)

So the question I have is in regards to starting a project from scratch. When you start drawing the model from level one and up I noticed that there is a option at the bottom in regards to the scale. I look at these areas as if they are model space (like cad) and I look at the sheet as if it is my paper space. So do you set the scale in model as 1 to 1 or do you set it to the actual scale that it will be on your sheet? (this is what is normally done it cad) Am I looking at this correctly, or does it depend on the firm you are with?
    Thanks

You will choose the scale in your plan view (or section/detail view) as the scale you will want it to be on your plotted sheet. If your plan is typically 1/8" scale, than choose 1/8" scale for your scale on your plan view. When you drop the view on your sheet, it will come in at the correct scale.
