Default Apparent intersection option for ordinate dimensions

Summary: Add the option to select an apparent intersection as a dimension point in an Ordinate dimension set.

Description: Add the option to select an apparent intersection as a dimension point in an Ordinate Dimension Set. This is available as a choice for a point to point single dimension. The need arises particularly with planar or sheet metal parts where the location of an exterior edge intersection point is desired, since the edges are joined by a noncircular curve.

This functionality has existed in the software for many years, but it doesn't work the same as point to point dimensions. Simply swipe along the intersecting lines (must be lines, not arcs) and the extended lines will show as dotted; when both are displaying, click to place.

I really don't think this is working (in ordinate dimension)! Also it should be possible to find itrsection from arcs etc.
spixler - please point out some video or something to show how it's used.
