    Question View Frames for AutoCAD

    Greetings,

I've been searching for this for quite some time, but I can't seem to find any hint regarding my particular issue, so here it goes:

I am looking for a solution for AutoCAD (procedure, LISP,...) which would enable me to create View Frames (similar to Civil 3D "AeccCreateViewFrames" command) along a selected polyline.
Or, other way, is there a way (preferrably an automatic routine) to draw a rectangle(s) in modelspace and then link it(them) to the viewports (at certain scale) in layouts?

Thanks for any kind of help in advance.

Default Re: View Frames for AutoCAD

Which version of AutoCAD are you using? If it's 2008 or newer (Full) or 2012 or newer (LT), I would highly recommend looking into using the Sheet Set Manager; linked paperspace / model space layouts are just part of their awesome-osity.
