DV33-2L: 3D Studio VIZ 3 for Dummies

Class Description: This course will be an introduction to the 3D Studio Viz R3 interface, which is radically different from its predecessors. We will explore the Command panel and Material editor, as well as the Asset browser, and much more. In the process of exploring VIZ 3, we will create a simple Box object, then modify it into an arch. We will create, then apply, a Brick material and add a few lights. We will explore the new RAM player, and briefly look at Asset Browser. This session is open to anyone wishing to explore the VIZ 3 interface for the first time or for VIZ 2 users who want to "kick the tires" on the new model.
