Default MEP 2012 MultiView Block Editing

Can anyone advise how a part (2d or the 3D element) of a multiview block can be moved without it moving both elements. There appears to be a step after selecting the MV block and then selecting the insertion node switching on the direction points but without another step here both the 3D and the 2D elements move in the desired /selected direction.

I believe you have to edit the view block that you want to move in the block editor. So if the mv part has 16 view blocks you have to move the one or more blocks in block editor to get it to move independent from the other view blocks. If you select the mv part and then click edit style on the contextual ribbon a dialog box will appear. Go to the view tab and you will see a list of all the view blocks for the part. Write down the name of the view block that you want to move. close the dialog box and type be and look for your block. Move the block to where you want away from the insertion point and save. You may have to do this for several blocks or just rebuild the part. Maybe someone else has an easier way.
