    Default Piping Problem

Seem to be having a few issues all of a sudden with piping!

Am trying to draw some pipe in plan. As soon as I change direction, the piping seems to magically change angle by about 0.5° (in plan, not in elevation). I am just using the generic fittings.

What really $hit$ me is that after 6 months of working in the model, it decides it wants to do this a week before Tender

Any thoughts would be appreciated on how to recitfy this problem.

Crisis averted.....computer was rebuilt during the week and it seems the Lookup Tables for piping no longer get installed....but rather sit somewhere in cyberspace.....

Which brings me to my next question, do the look up tables need to be installed on all local user machines???

Lookup tables can be stored locally or on the network. I prefer to keep ours on the network (after configuring the deployment / .ini accordingly) so everyone in the firm is using the same lookup tables. If we put new fittings into play, the associated table only has to be copied to one folder, not multiple PC's. This also allows me to point multiple versions of Revit to one location. Hth.

The Revit.ini file defines the path revit looks for the lookup tables. It (ini file) is found in different locations depending on what version you are on. Google search will help you find where it is saved for your version. In 2012 and later there are 2 ini files. The ini file can be edited in notepad. All that being said you probably want to check with your administrator before editing the ini file.
