Default Problem with central and local file: "file not saved" error

    Hi,

Absentmindedly, I opened my Central file by accident. Realizing immediately my mistake, I tried to cancel out of it, but instead it giving me that option, it gave me some kind of message about "relinquishing" or not. I had no idea what to select (why is there no cancel option???), so I hit relinquish and closed out with out saving; however, it seemed to save anyway. Now when I go into my local file and try to synchronize, I get a "file not saved" error, even though it is pointing to the central file.

    What should I do?

    Thanks,
    Derek

If you don't have work that you've done in the local file that hasn't been synchronized, just open the central file with the box checked for 'Create New Local'.

If you do have work done on your local file, then re-save your local file as the new Central file. Then create a new local file for yourself, and any other team member. But make sure your local file is the most up to date.
