Default Sections Only Belong to One Phase?

I would like my sections to show in my new plan, and my existing plan. I discovered that sections have a Phase property, so it appears this is not possible, without manually recreating each marker and Reference Other View. Am I missing something simple?

You are correct, section lines (or any view annotation for that matter) only appear in views set to the same phase as the other view itself.

Curious, why would you want a section showing (I'm guessing) both existing and new elements, to show up in a plan showing only existing elements?

We are showing demolition in this section as well, since it is a complex condition. Maybe it would be better to have two separate views, just like we do for plans...

Yep, I would. Demolition and New Construction overlapping can often be quite confusing. Better to show a "Previous + Demo" section, that shows up on your Demo plan (I'm assuming your Demo plan is set to New Construction and Show Previous + Demo, right?), and then another section that shows up on your New Construction plan with all the phase stuff set the same as that plan.

Makes sense. And yes, Previous + Demo.
