I have a PDMS file that is being converted into a .SAT file and then linked into my Revit model. When the .SAT file is visible in practically every view (other than in plan) it causes the model to be extremely slow when loading that view (i.e. a new section cut that has the .SAT file viewable in it) or just panning around or zooming.

Has anyone had any experience using PDMS files and referencing them into Revit that has not caused just a major slow down?

And just for reference, when I say slow down, it takes 10-15 minutes when cutting a new section cut or turning on the .SAT file within an elevated view. I'm sure part of the reference deals with the faces of the equipment being viewed in the .SAT file being rendered, but even that I'm not 100% is the case.

Any help would be appreciated.
