    Default Layer group filter switch

I'm wondering if there is a way to set a layer group filter current.
Supposed on a drawing there are 2 groups, "Insulation" and "Area".
    Your helps are much appreciated.

After googling, I found something is missing with the "-layer" command.
Actually, I can set filter by using this command but what it shown in the command prompt is:
    [?/Make/Set/New/Rename/ON/OFF/Color/Ltype/LWeight/TRansparency/MATerial/Plot/Freeze/Thaw/LOck/Unlock/stAte/Description/rEconcile]
It provides no option for filter setting.
When I entered "filter" this is followed:
Enter a layer filter option [New/Set/Rename/Edit/Delete/eXit]:
    So it does the trick.
This must be a bug and this is not the first time happen to autocad command.

    My version: 2011

VPLayer Command has a similar "hidden" command option... Next time you're in Paper space, consider this:

    Code:
    (command "._vplayer" "reMoveoverrides")
"Potential has a shelf life." - Margaret Atwood

Sorry, RenderMan, what version do you have?
On my v2011 Mech it doesn't work even entered the "M".

    Oops, it works.
    Good catch!
Two or three years ago, I found another one but can't remember now.

Found a post by Cadtag at the Swamp:
The undocumented command +LAYER lets you set a layer filter current.
