Schizophrenic Cross Hairs

When I exit block editor, the cross hairs act all crazy. They either jump all over or stay stuck in place and then move.
If I exit the drawing and reopen they act like they are suppose to.
Has anyone else experienced this? What is causing it?
I am running AutoCAD LT with a Logitech MX610 Left-Handed mouse.

What version?
Hardware acceleration on?

LT 2012 had a patch that addressed BE issues that dealt with closing the drawing without saving.

try checking to see if Snap mode got turned on by accident, i've done before and i know it will happen again.
