REVIT Architecture 2013 Old School Architectural LEADER (Not Dimension) ARROWHEAD

I can make a HEAVY (lineweight 7) 90 degree architectural arrowhead by duplicating and modifying the standard 30 degree arrowhead family supplied in Revit Architecture 2013. The problem I have is that said HEAVY arrowhead can be assigned to a dimension style (not the 'tick' type that old school Architects who learned to draw using lineweights use for dimensioning) but when assigned as a note/tag leader arrowhead, it will ONLY appear in the lineweight of the leader line itself. What I want is an old school HEAVY (lineweight 7) 90 degree LEADER arrowhead and a leader line itself in a lineweight of 1 or 2. Any workaround or fix?
