This effect can be done with object animation, but is not possible with Timeliner, as far as I know.
What option will be?
And the people that put thatvanimation they aren recording the timeliner then?
This is possible but currently very time consuming in Navisworks.
The basic instructions for one object are listed below. You may need to search previous posts on how to do each.
1. Create a key frame animation of the object falling.
2. Create a task in timeliner,
3. Link object to Task
4. Link animation to Task
Now just repeat those simple steps for every object and prepare to be amazed at how frustrating it will become when things don't work the way you expect.
It is also a pain in the a$$ for camera angles. It is not fun.
It's really not that difficult, it just takes some practice, once you have done it a few times, you can get pretty comfortable with it and it goes pretty quick. But I thought I would clarify the process a little more.
-create and object animation in animator
-add scene in animator
-select object you want to manipulate
-right click on scene and "add animation set" "for current selection"
-capture key frames (basically a snapshot of where the current object is located) from the different positions of the object you want to manipulate.
-so if you want a sky fall animation, capture one key frame with the object in its desired position, and then another key frame with the object moved X feet in the "Z" direction. Then you can move the key frames to get the desired speed of falling.
-the rest is in Timeliner.
