    Default Column / Footing Issue

    Hi all,

I have several columns in my project, concrete, structural which have a base offset form slab level of -450mm.
When i assign an isolated footing to these columns, they end up -14500 from the slab and hence not attached to the base of my columns.
i cannot seem to move these footings nor attach them to the base of the columns either.
Any ideas why this is happening?

    Thanks

it has to do with the column family, if you open the family and go to an elevation view, the bottom of the footing needs to be attached to the Reference level, if it is attached to a reference plane, just lock the reference plane to the reference level ad reload.
I had the same issue but mine all work now.
I also reviewed my library of columns to make sure this didn't happen again in the future.
