    Default Can't apply View Template

So, ummm.... WHEN did the ability to apply view templates become a non-functioning function? It works fine in 2012 but not in 2013. It doesn't do anything but sit there, mocking me. I have Web Update 2 installed for what it's worth. It happens on new projects (started with 2013) and those upgraded from 2012 to 2013.

The View Template system was revamped for 2013 - they're referenced by linking Views to them rather than manually applying the View Template, as per previous releases. I right-clicked on a View in 2013 and saw the option "Apply Template Properties" (as opposed to "Apply View Template" from 2012). Is that what you were selecting?

Yeah, but for some reason it wasn't applying the properties to the view as it should. I'll have to go back and try assigning a view template to the views and see if it auto-magically updates them.

Be careful - when you apply a template to a view in the Properties Palette, it locks the V/G settings for the view. If you simply "Apply Template Properties" you can still manually toggle those settings. For the new projects, check to make sure it was created with the proper project template - the install might have reset all of your file paths. For the upgraded models, I have no idea what would be happening.
