Default Shared Parameter file not Valid

We've had our office shared parameter file in use for a while now and have been doing work in a project in 2013 in which we've added parameters to this file. Now that file is appearing as invalid for previous versions of RMEP but still works in 2013. Has anyone come across this?

One or more of the parameters added through 2013 are not compatible with earlier versions. In testing this, I added a "Common" discipline parameter (using 2013) to the file and no error was received in 2012. However, when I added a parameter from the "Energy" Discipline, the error you describe was returned in 2012 because "Energy" did not exist in that release. Upon re-opening 2013, I deleted that parameter and then the file was once again accessible in 2012.

beaut! I knew it was likely the case just wasn't sure which parameter would be new.
    thanks,

ok, I thought we'd be able to find it but we don't have any parameters under the energy discipline. There are some others that look new under HVAC and Piping but we don't use any of those either. Probably missing something but it's like finding a needle in a haystack here.

Found the problem. We had used a parameter under the structural discipline (weight) which was causing the issue. In 2011 there's only an option for "unit weight" but 2013 has both options.
