Revit MEP Family is not showing up in ARCH Model?


The architect is not seeing a family created in the MEP model...has anyone run into this problem before?

Some basic things to check. Is the element/catagory turned on in the architects model for that view? If it is modeled as Mechanical Equipment, are their visibility graphics turned on? Is the MEP model actually linked in their model?

What Category is the family? I assume you can see it in the MEP Project, so is it still visible if the View's Discipline is set to Architectural?

It could be an issue of Workset (maybe it's on one that is off by default).

Have you verified that the element's Phasing is correct?

Are Design Options involved in the Project?

Have they mentioned what they've done to try to correct this issue? Have they toyed with the View Range, V/G Settings, etc?

Thanks for all the help.

When I placed the family in the MEP model, I placed it under Shared Levels and Grids. And in the Arc Model they have our MEP shared levels and grids turned to Closed (or turned off).
