Default Model Horizontal Shaft - Best Method - Revit Architecture

What is the best method for modeling fire rated horizontal shafts. I have my desired 2hr wall type, but I would like the these vertical elements to wrap finishes with horizontal Fire protection. should i use a Roof, Floor, some other kind of element?

Roof or floor. Change to the appropriate materials etc. Model it as you'd build it!
