Default Revit 2013 CAD background "Shifting lines"

Im working on a project in Revit Structure 2013, with a CAD file from an architect linked in... pretty normal stuff. However the line work seems to shift as i zoom in and out distorting the layout. Archs turn into squiggles, straight lines appear angled, lines cross that actually dont.

The CAD file itself looks fine.
I have a warning in my graphic options saying my video card is to new (co-worker has same warning but file loks fine)
I tried both turning on and off the graphic acceleration and Anti-Aliasing

Has anyone come accross this in the past? Is there a fix?

as you may imagine its pretty hard to model when my background is ever shifting.

    thanks
    Mike Smith

Roll back the video card driver and install an older one that is certified by Autodesk. Click the link inside of the Revit dialog box, or go here directly to find the one you need:
