Default SOME Fill Patterns Not Showing

    Hi Everyone,

Some fill patterns aren't showing up when I draw a filled region such as gypsum plaster from the standard menu and none at all from the edit types menu. When the object is selected the pattern shows but when it's deselected nothing shows again. I've tried Course, Medium, Fine, changing line weight, transparancey, moving to front, moving to back but nothing works and I'm mystified. The drawings are 1 1/2" - 1'0" details if that makes any difference.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work?

    Thanks.

Any chance you would have an element in front hiding it like a Masking Region?

No - because a) I tried using the send to back/send to front option and b) I switched between fill patterns without moving the region in various places and the same patterns show up or don't show up.

Is the color for the fill pattern set to white in the type properties of the filled region?

YES - you must have sent that to me by ESP! as I just figured that out and was about to post that info here!

White lines on a white background by default settings - I wonder if there is a use for that..
