No one has 2013. We get our ACAD from our network so we are all on the same page.

I do understand the BAK process and did not have to do it. I did the work around suggested on the warning to convert to 2010 using True View. This is issue is still not resovled as this may happen again. Someone from AutoDesk should take this bull by the horns and tame it for the rest of the world. Afterall, these seats are not given away.
    1. - Open the folder in Windows Explorer => Right-click the dwg file and pick Properties. On the Statistics tab if you aren't the 'Last saved by:' then someone else did it.
    2. - Ten years ago our MIS set a limit on user space used on the server. I saved a large drawing on close and the limit cut the dwg file in half. No way to open or recover it. Feel your pain.

Stupid question time: is this a DWG version problem, or a vertical/AEC content version problem?

I'm thinking this would be a question for an AutoCAD geek...and not me...

You mention "ACADm2012" in post #4 - would this be AutoCAD Mechanical? Or something else?
