Thumbs down VAV/CV Boxes not registering CFM of downstream diffusers

I have literally spent an entire day trying to figure out why my boxes will not register downstream duct cfm's. All I want is for the CFM to be scheduled based on the total of the diffusers attached to it. I have checked, double checked, and triple checked all of the connectors. The ducts will total the CFM up to the point of the box, but not INTO the box. Yes, I have read all the help topics. Yes I have Wiki'd my heart out. Thoughts? Encouragement? Help??

You may already have done this, but just in case...

The duct connector on the VAV box that is supplying the air devices must have its flow configuration set to calculated. And the CFM field on the connector must be linked to a Shared Parameter, instance based, that will then appear in your schedule.

Yes, already worked thru all that. Nothing seems to work. Today I am going to start fresh. Create a brand spanking new box. And cross my fingers!

Which family is this? A stock family? I've found at least a couple VAV's that are using a connector link between the two connectors in the family. This breaks the calculations, the link is only needed when there is more than one possible route through a device. THIS POST explains it.
