    Default Equipment Tagging

    Hi guys,

My company is having me work on transitioning from acad to Revit. I'm having some issues creating an equipment tag that I find suitable.

Attached is the current equip tag we are using - pretty standard.

Example of it would be for an exhaust fan - EF would fill in the top field, then 001, etc, would fill out the rest.

The issue is trying to get it to work in Revit - I don't want to have use two parameters, and I can't get the single parameter (Mark) to wrap nicely into this box. Only reason i don't want to use two parameters is if I use Mark then I get "duplicate mark values" for things that are not of the same type... Is there a way to mask parts of a parameter (maybe what I'm asking is too much??)

    Any suggestions?
