    Default Fading Linked CAD

Is there a way to fade or lighten the lines of a linked CAD file on screen so they don't possess the same weight as the objects in the project?
In AutoCAD (my native language) you can fade the display of external references.

Currently I'm making a copy of each file to be traced and changing the layer colors but there are a lot of files and a lot of layers so this gets tedious.

Also I'm sorry but this is my first post and the only prefix available is 2014 but I haven't upgraded yet.

VG --> Imported Categories --> Halftone the linked DWG... or you can modify the lineweight there too...

Thanks. I learned on Autodesk's forum that you can modify the transparency of the link by overriding the graphics in view.

You could also go to the Manage tab --> Object Styles --> imported objects

Did you know that you can also control the line weights of linked cad files automatically if you go to the Insert tab --> click on down arrow in Imports and assign line weights based on color.
