Start slow

Hello,
I've got the new Autocad LT 2005 and I have a few problem with it.
First when i start the program it take something like 2 minutes to be ready.
I also try to use the communicqtion centre to make the update but he can't make the connection witn the server.
Must I reinstall the program, I hope no because I don't like to do this.
