Default Bring back the Search path

Lets say you have many search paths for a particular project and now the project is done.....
but you need the search paths in the future....what is the best way to handle this.

What I've done in the past is to copy the search paths to notepad....and then erase the search paths from AutoCAD.....later when the project returns I copy and paste in the
    individual search paths.....

is there a more efficient way to do this?
