Default Changing Length of Array within a Family

I am working in Revit 2014 LT. I am having trouble figuring out how to adjust the length of an array within in a family. I have tried constraining the ends of the array to reference planes and changed the reference places to strong references, but have still had no luck with the length changing. Can someone please point me in the right direction (if this is even possible to do)?

When you first create the Array, ensure you select the "Move to last" button as per attached image, then it should work
