Default Can't see walls in AutoCAD 2012 from building designed in Arch. 2012

So I've got a multi-level building that I designed in Arch. 2012. Now I'm using AutoCAD 2012 to draft out the building. The problem I'm having is that I can't see my wall sheeting or doors when I cut a plan view using 3DCLIP in a viewport. The building has been inserted into the drawing. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I stuck drawing in some lines to represent the walls and doors?

Is the Object Enabler for Architecture loaded into your vanilla autoCAD?

No, and its doesn't appear that there is a O.E. for Arch. 2012 or AutoCAD 2012.

If there's not an OE available, then it's probably built-in to vanilla 2012.

I suspect that the problem is that you are trying to do something in vanilla with an AEC object. that is - modify what's seen on screen. I think you'll need Arch to set up all views and sheets, and could only use vanilla for basic 2d drafting on those sheets.

Not modify, just want to see the doors and walls when I create a cutting section through the building when the bottom of the wall is cut out of the section in a multiple level situation. I tried to create the pages/viewports using Arch. but the same thing happens, as soon as you move the cutting plane above the base of the wall, the wall disappears.

You'll probably ned to ask this in the Architecure forum -- since it appears to be an Arch issue

Try PROXYGRAPHICS at command line and trun it on. Save your file and then try again.
