help with hatch pattern

I've been trying for weeks now to make a custom hatch, displaying in elevation a cmu block wall with dimensions 8" x 16" with 1/2" spacing between blocks, this is my hatch code,

*blockwallinches,block wall
0, 0,0, .2159,.2159, .4064,-.0127
0, 0,.2032, .2159,.2159, .4064,-.0127
90, 0,0, .2159,.2159, .2032,-.2286
90, -.0127,0, .2159,.2159, .2032,-.2286

but for some reason beyond my patience the hatch pattern looks like this

I know it's only one code to change, but to this day I can't find the right one.

It looks like you want the pattern expressed in metres.

Try this:
