Default An unrecoverable error has occurred

    Computer specs:
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Service Pack 1
    64-bit operating system
    Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
    12 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6450 video card

When launching Revit LT 2013, the following error message appears after the splash screen:

“An unrecoverable error has occurred. The program will now be terminated. All of your data has been recently saved, so there is no need to create recovery files.”

After an extensive Google search, I’ve tried to fix the problem by:

Repairing WSCommcntr2.exe process – Does not appear in Task Manager
Moving/deleting corrupt WSCommCntrData.xml file – Did not work
Moving/deleting corrupt UIState.dat file – File does not exist in Revit LT 2013
Uninstalling/reinstalling the software – Did not work

There are no service packs available for Revit LT.

Below is the latest Journal file text.

Can someone shed any light on this? I’m at a loss on how to proceed.
    Thank you for any assistance.

Can you open with Audit in LT?
Did you try changing your video settings before opening?

    Thanks for replying.
I cannot open Revit LT at all.
Changing video settings has no effect.

    Thoughts?

    Yes, I did.
This is noted in the original post above.

    The solution:
After re-installing the video card graphics drivers, Revit LT 2013 still did not run.

So, as a last result, I created a new user account on my computer and attempted to launch Revit LT. The software started, to my surprise. As all other software worked properly on the original user account, I didn’t think it was corrupted. But, the Revit LT profile was for some unknown reason.
