    Default Transfering settings

I am moving to a laptop for a week while I am on the road. I matched all my support file paths and copied all my menu files and custom files to the laptop right where they should be. Sill my AC2005 looks like it just came out of the box. If there a file somewhere that I am missing? I just want my lappy to look just like my PC. Toolbars etc ...

Yes I searched before I posted.

Have you looked at Exporting your AutoCAD Profile (ARG file) from you PC to your laptop, be warned you might run into a minor problem if you laptop does not share the same Directory structure, but you can easily fix that once the AutoCAD Profile have been imported.

    Have a good one, Mike

Just a thought: The order of the support file paths makes a difference. You can have the same menu file in multiple folders in the search path but AutoCAD loads the first one it finds and stops searching. Try moving the folder with the menu files to the top of the search paths in the options dialog and restart AutoCAD.

    Good luck,
