Default Domestic Water pipe not visiible in plan view

    plumbing section.JPG

I've drawn domestic cold water pipe that's visible in section, but not in plan view. I've reviewed the following visibility settings without success:

There is a plumbing workset, which is active & visible, and the pipes are drawn on the active workset.
Changing detail level and visual style has no affect. Pipe is still not visible in plan.
See attached image for levels in project. View range settings are: Top: 3rd Level, cut plane: 4 ft offset of associated level, Bottom: Second Level
The Domestic Cold water pipe is at the same elevation (10 feet above Bottom Level) in section as Domestic Hot Water pipe which is visible in plan view.
There is a Domestic Cold Water visibility filter, which is checked on. Domestic cold water pipe is filtered by System Classification
The Pipe model category is turned on in Visibility Graphics
The plan View Discipline is set to Mechanical
The Sub-Discipline is set to Plumbing
The project has an Existing and New Phase
The pipe is on the Existing phase
The Phase Filter is set to Show Previous and New
The active Phase is New Construction
Changing the active Phase to Existing has no affect. Pipe is still not visible in plan.
There is a View Template for Plumbing Plan views. The View Template's Visibility Settings are the same as those described above.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Revit 2013? Try changing the discipline to Plumbing, not Mechanical.

    Edit:
Sorry, I did not see the 2012 prefix.

Is there an offset to either top or bottom of view range?

I'll just throw some ideas out there.
-You could click the "Reveal Hidden Elements" and see if maybe you or someone accidentally hid it?
-I see some plumbing fixtures in your section view, I don't know where your pipe comes up in plan but if it is next to the fixture maybe you could check the transparency settings of your plumbing fixtures to make sure its not blocking it out.

Sorry, I forgot to add a prefix to this question. I'm using MEP 2012.

No, there are no offsets from the top nor the bottom.

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at Reveal Hidden Element, and didn't see the pipe I've drawn in plan view. The pipe is about 10 feet above the plumbing fixtures, so I don't think the transparency settings of the fixtures would be an issue.

If Hot Water is showing up but not Cold that sounds a lot like a Filter criteria isn't set correctly, misspelling perhaps? Double check the parameters for the pipe you can select in section against the settings for the hot water piping.

-I see a few plumbing furnishings on your segment view, I don't know in which your pipe of comes up in plan however if it's miles subsequent to the fixture maybe you could check the transparency settings of your plumbing fixtures to ensure its no longer blocking off it out.
