Halftone Nested Generic Annotations

Good day!

I'm having a problem trying to halftone all generic annotations in one of my plan views.

I have many different families that include a generic annotation for electrical purposes (ex. Electrical fixtures with symbols)
For some reason, nothing halftones, when I override generic annotations in my view.
If I turn off Generic annotations, all symbols disappear fine. Why do they not halftone???

If they are on a sub-category under generic annotations they wont halftone, but you can change the line color within the view properties for the subcategory instead...or maybe (untested) try changing the line colour anyway for the category instead of halftoning

Yes, all the symbols are on a sub-category - Electrical Annotation.
And yes I did try changing the line colour in Object Styles which worked fine, except it doesn't change fill patterns, (solid fill) they remain as is.

Maybe this just can't be done..
