    Default Drawing Clouds

Is there a method to draw clouds precisely and graphically pleasing? I'm going to wear out my left mouse button unless I learn a better technique.

I hate to say this, but this is easy in AutoCAD.

Clouds in the sky type clouds?

Could you attach an example so we can see what sort of graphic effect you're going for?

I'm assuming he means revision clouds. Revit rev clouds are the worst. If there is a way to make a consistent, graphically pleasing rev cloud I would love to see it.

    Generic Annotations parametric families.

A few different types and done

By the way this is just a way to do it, I personally just use the clouds that come with Revit, so far I have had no complaints from clients, subcontractors or council about the appearance of my clouds.

I agree, Revision clouds are horrible in Revit.

I would love a "turn polyline into revision cloud" feature like in AutoCAD.

In the mean time, I draw a plain box round things or overide the colour of elements that have changed (which is laborious)

Until Revit likes PLINES we will never see the Rev cloud from AutoCAD...

While I did like using the thin to thick rev cloud in ACAD...that functionality is something I am not ready for in Revit. As I used to hate trying to go in and change PLINES that somehow changed widths along the span of a project.

I agree the revcloud is terrible in Revit. Would like to see an improvement in the next release.

Auto CAD clouds are really good. I worked with AutoCAD for long time. Few months ago I started with Revit & I found it most irritating to create rev clouds. At least option can be there to make uniform radius for cloud, it will look decent. If drawings are of bad quality we need to put lots of cloud on revit model & that's
