Question Looking to Find Post Production Technique

    Hey All,

A long time ago I saw a workflow for rendering that worked really well for changing many aspects of the final product without having to re-render. I was hoping someone here might be able to find it for me. It was a video, but I'm not sure who hosted it or what the title might have been...

The process involved rendering much of the scene separately (shadows, object color, etc.) and layering them together in PS. One interesting aspect of this was that the base object color (without a texture) was rendered separately, allowing one to change the color of objects without having to re-render, but just changing it in PS. It was really interesting and seemed like a great way to render for post for architectural scenes. Any ideas?

Not sure but googling "post-production rendering 3ds max" seems to produce some interesting results

You might like Motiva Colimo, it allows you to change not only colors but also textures, their tiling and so on.
