    Default C3d vs. Geopak

I've gotten an assignment to redraw a series of alignments and profiles. I've received a .GPK file that I've been told has important information. How can I make use it it in Civil 3d?

Unless I've completely missed a feature, Civil 3D cannot import data from GEOPAK (.gpk) file, instead as I understand it, one must open the GEOPAK file in Microstation and export to LandXML, which Civil 3D can then import directly.

If I am mistaken, someone please feel free to correct me.

    Cheers
