Default AutoCAD 2014 shutdown, now crosshairs are skewing everything

Can anyone offer any idea of what is going on here? I have AutoCAD 2014 on my system. It crashed on me this morning while working on a super simple drawing. I opened it back up and drew it again (hadn't had a chance to save it before), and now where my crosshairs and selection box are, there is a sort of "invisible" square around that that just skews every line it crosses. It is AWFUL in paper space, but only affects the curved lines in model space. I am going crazy here! Any ideas??

I attached an image of what it looks like in model space and paper space. You can see in paper space especially where I have moved my crosshairs across the screen.

    Thanks for any help!!

There isn't any setting that would cause that. Looks like a video issue. Have you tried restarting acad and/or your pc?

I wouldn't completely ignore the AutoCAD side of things. If his 3dconfig settings were lost/reset in the crash, then he could definitely see a degradation in on screen performance. I've never had a crash affect this though, just lots of other system variables.

I've had similar and, if rebooting didn't cure it, it was a display problem.
